Biography
Siavash Mahmoudi was a 16-year-old teenager who was killed by government security forces in Tehran during the 2022 Woman, Life, Freedom protests. His mother, Leyli Mahdavi, has since become a prominent advocate for justice, refusing to accept 'blood money' and calling for an end to executions. He is buried in Behesht-e Zahra cemetery, where his grave has become a site of gathering and solidarity for grieving families and activists.
