Biography
Siavash Mahmoudi was a 16-year-old Iranian teenager killed by security forces during the Woman Life Freedom protests in Tehran in 2022. He was reportedly shot by government forces. His mother, Leyli Mahdavi, is a prominent "Mother of Justice" who actively commemorates his memory and advocates for an end to organized violence and the abolition of the death penalty. He is buried in Behesht-e Zahra Cemetery in Tehran.
سیاوش محمودی، نوجوان ۱۶ ساله ایرانی بود که در سال ۲۰۲۲ در جریان اعتراضات «زن، زندگی، آزادی» در تهران به ضرب گلوله نیروهای امنیتی کشته شد. مادرش، لیلی مهدوی، یک «مادر دادخواه» برجسته است که فعالانه یاد او را گرامی میدارد و خواستار پایان خشونتهای سازمانیافته و لغو مجازات اعدام است. او در آرامستان بهشت زهرای تهران به خاک سپرده شده است.
